Town and Gown: Defiance Street Railway

“ALL ABOARD” the DEFIANCE STREET RAILWAY
Thursday, October 25, 7:00 P.M.- Stroede Center for the Arts 319 Wayne Avenue.  Take a ride down memory lane with motorman William Kesseler (portrayed by Rich Rozevink) on the Defiance Street Railway Trolley that ran from 1891 to 1913. For just a nickel a ride in an open or enclosed trolley car, Mr. Kesseler will take you to one of the numerous factories located in east Defiance, to Island Park for a picnic or other park events, and to either the B & O – Wabash Union Railroad Station on the south side or the Defiance, Lima, & Milwaukee Railroad Station on the east side. For this evening’s event, the ride is free!

An easy access entrance to the Stroede Center for the Arts is located on Third Street.
