On the first Saturday of May, the streets of Downtown Defiance are filled with activities. On this weekend, the liilac, which was decreed the official flower of Defiance in 1937 is celebrated. Join both the young and old for a day of entertainment featuring:

• Live music
• Fine Art Invitational
• Arts & Crafts Fair
• Garden Market featuring lilacs and other spring plantings
• Children's Activities
• Food & Entertainment

SCHEDULE OF LIVE ENTERTAINMENT:

• 10:15 AM - Free Zumba class presented by the YMCA
• 11 am - Squeeze Box - Grammy Nominated Modern Polka Band (Click HERE to hear their music!)
• 12:30 - PB & The Acoustic Jam - Classic rock to today in a relaxed acoustic style
• 2:00 - Saturnine Hello - Universal Records' Hot New Modern Rock Band - From DEFIANCE OHIO!
• 3:30 - Jon Spencer - Modern Rock & Classics preented in an acoustic style from one of Northwest Ohio's favorite talents.
• 4:30 - Doug Fiely - Acoustic Entertainment at its best with something for everyone!
