Super Bowl 58 Made Possible by an Ayersville Native
Super Bowl 58 Made Possible by an Ayersville Native

Many of us were sitting at home or at a party watching Super Bowl LVIII on our TVs, eating appetizers, some of us hoping to catch a glimpse of Taylor Swift, cheering on one of the two teams. For Dylan Dotson, it was a little more up close and personal in an on field experience pen by the San Francisco 49ers sidelines, ensuring the entire event ran smoothly.

*JENNA’S TAKEOVER*
River's Edge Bar & Grille may have changed over the years (from the time it was known as Spanky’s Bar) and yet the classic wooden bar (that I love in older bars) and the laid back atmosphere remains. I am usually willing to try things that I have no idea what they are (at least once - never again soft-shelled crab sandwich) and that curiosity has led me to discovering foods I enjoy. My curiosity led me to try River‘s Edge’s special for the day for Defiance County Restaurant Week. I had their chicken roll ups (added waffle fries) and
I would absolutely get this again. For those wondering - they are a tortilla filled with shredded chicken and cheese and came with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and salsa and sour cream. Their daily specials vary between homemade and comfort food and update weekly (except Fridays). The bar is cozy and welcoming to groups of friends who may be getting a drink after work or wanting to shoot a game of pool and it is close to the Maumee so I have been tempted in the past to get my DORA cup and walk paths along the river.
