In light of Governor DeWine’s Executive Order on mass gatherings and the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding social distancing, many area organizations have followed the recommendations in cancelling or postponing events.
The DDVB is working hard to keep the community and those visiting Defiance updated through our website and social media avenues by providing up-to-date information as quickly as possible.
We will continue to make these updates, but due to the fast-changing nature of the situation, some of the information on our website or social media pages may not be consistent with the latest update.
Before attending an event we suggest you check with the host or organizers to be sure the event has not been cancelled. If an event you were planning on attending has been cancelled or postponed, please consider donating ticket or registration fees to the planning organization to assist in covering costs incurred during the planning of the event.
If you have any updates on your event, please let us know. We will do our best to get the information out per our social media pages.
Annual events sponsored by the DDVB are always listed on our Annual Events page:
- Chocolate Walk
- Lilac Festival & Street Fair
- Downtown Defiance Farmers’ Market
- Witches Brew
- Santa’s Arrival
